Attorney Ministries helps Christian attorneys form local chapters in the community where they live and work. CLS Attorney Chapters encourage fellowship and hold monthly prayer meetings, sponsor Bible studies, invite engaging speakers, offer CLE programs, and provide chapter members tangible ways to grow their practice and at the same time serve their communities with the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Once an attorney begins the practice of law, it becomes increasingly difficult to find time to meet new professional colleagues! Since we consider attorneys present day disciples of Jesus Christ, it is important that they join in fellowship, encouragement, and accountability.
As a support to the local church, our goal is to help attorneys facilitate a closer relationship not only with others who are called to serve, but those who also want to deepen their personal relationship with Jesus Christ, as expressed in the words of the 10th century prayer so that “He may defend, refresh, preserve, guide, justify, and bless us.”
